Leadership
Brinson Barker
Brinson grew up in Valdosta, GA, where he played football for the Valdosta Wildcats, winning national and state titles. He surrendered his life to Christ at seventeen and was called to ministry four years later. After graduating from Bible School, he moved back to Valdosta, where he fell in love with Lori. They later got married in 2000 and have three amazing sons, Elijah, Asher, and Seth. He has been serving in ministry full-time since 2000. He worked on church staff for ten years in various capacities and leadership roles. His passion for the local church is central to all he does. For the last 12 years, he has given himself to evangelism, unifying the church, and missions stateside and abroad. He has led and coordinated evangelism training workshops, mission teams, conferences, and ministry training schools in the local church. He and his family served three years as missionaries in Guatemala with Living Water International and for over a year as missionaries doing inner-city ministry. He founded LifeBridge Missions in 2017. He is passionate about building relational bridges across racial, political, cultural, and denominational lines in the body of Christ. His love for Jesus and people is contagious. His heart to awaken and mobilize the church worldwide to reach the lost has taken him to 17 nations on five continents. He also is the president of Christian Leaders and Ministers Network, a local Christian Network in Valdosta driven to unify Christian Leaders through the body of Christ (www.clmnvaldosta.org). He also serves as an Elder at New Covenant, his home church (www.nccvaldosta.org) and on the board of CAM Leadership Network (www.camleadership.net).
Accountability
We have relational accountability with CAM Leadership Network and New Covenant Church Valdosta under the leadership of Senior Leader Mike Wells. He receives counsel from the elders of New Covenant, Leadership of CLN, Pastor LA Joiner, and the LifeBridge Missions Board.
